BREACH BY MUSSOLINI
ANGLO-ITALIAN AGREEMENT (Independent Cable Service.) Received Feb. 17, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 17. Signor Mussolini has created a breach of Article 2 of the AngloItalian Agreement by secretly sending arms to Yemen in exchange for control of several strategic islands fringing the Yemen coast. Article 2 states that neither party shall seek a privileged political position or territory at present belonging to Saudi Arabia, Yemen or territory which either State might hereafter acquire.
