SACRIFICE FOR OTHERS Received Feb. 17, 5.5 p.m. QUEBEC CITY, Feb. 16. An heroic nun gave her life to save twenty nuns and twelve girl boarding students during a night lire whien caused damage to the extent of 100,000 dollars at the Guardian Angel Convent, when a petrol lamp exploded spraying the nun with flames. She ran through the corridors, warning all the inmates to leave. Her remains were found in the ruins of the convent three hours later. A thousand patients were safely removed from the St. Michael Provincial Hospital for the Insane, also conducted by the nuns, who moves through the corridors herding the screaming insane past the steel lire doors. The institution was partly destroyed, the damage amounting to 150,000 dollars. The fire is attributed to a defective furnace.
