WEEK-END EXCURSION In our advertising columns in this issue will be found particulars of a week-end excursion from New Plymouth, Waitara and Wanganui to Wellington on February 24-27. The special trains have been arranged so that excursionists will lose as little time as possible from business and at the same time enjoy a long week-end in the capital city. Special week-end fares have been arranged and, given fine weather, this excursion should prove very popular.
WANGANUI RACES
Those of our readers who propose to attend the Wanganui races will be pleased to learn that suitable arrangements have been made regarding trains, services and cheap fares. Particulars will be found in our advertising columns m this issue.
