Swimmer Uses Resin.
The Hawaiian-Japanese swimmer, Kiyoshi Nakama, who is at present in Australia, covers his forearms and hands with resin before entering the I water. It prevents <he hand from slipping when the swimmer is turning, and thus enables him to make 'ne turn, which means so much in j perfect style. The practice is adopted by al! swimmers in Honolulu, it is stated, and it is one which might well be fell, wed '/ iocs' swimmers To shake hands wi'h nakama alter he loaves the water is like putting your lingers into a “glue pot.”
