PRIVATELY ACCOMMODATED
MR. F. GOLDBERG AWAITING LEGAL INQUIRY [ Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 17. Mr. Frank Goldberg, a Sydney business man who was reported to have been refused service by hotel staffs in Wellington and Christchurch, arrived in Wellington from the South this morning. He said that the matter of his boycott by the Hotel Workers’ Union was allegedly because of his activity against the Labour Party at election time. The matter was in the hands of the Prime Minister, whose advice as to the legal aspect he was awaiting. He did not wish to cause further difficulty by stating his side of tre case before the result of Mr. Savage’s investigation was known. Mr. Goldberg, who is being accommodated privately while in Wellington, said he was unable to give any indication as to his movements in the future.
