BRITISH TRADE RETURNS
► FIGURES FOR JANUARY DAIRY PRODUCE INCREASES LONDON, Feb. 14. The Board o£ Trade return lor January revealed that imports totalled £75,570,000, exports £39,479,000, and re-exports £4,595,000. The principal decreases compared with January last year were imports of grain and flour, £2,225,000; tobacco, £666,000; iron ore, £1,469,000; wood timber, £625,000; raw cotton, £1,251,000; seeds and nuts, £748,000; rubber, £736,000; iron and steel and their manufactures, £1,965,000; oils and fats, £604,000, and in exports of iron and steel manufactures, £1,519,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £781,000. There were increases in the import of dairy pro'duce of £841,000; other food, £696,000: [raw wool, £990,000, and in export of vehicles, £1,308,000,
