RECORD PROFITS FOR WOOLWORTHS
SYDNEY, Feb. 15. A preliminary statement reports record profits of £271.693, earned by Woolworths, Limited, for the twelve months ended January 31, 1939. This is an increase of £53,976 over the previous highest figures. The final dividend is 115 per cent., making 175 per cent, for the year, compared with 15 per cent, last year.
