“BULLDOG DRUMMOND IN AFRICA’’ Louis King, the chief of several "Bulldog Drummond” pictures, and more recently, of the sensational “Prison Farm,” directed Paramount’s new mystery film, “Bulldog Drummond in Africa.” This picture shows for one night only at the Civic Theatre to-night, and features the popular John Howard in a thrilling H. C. “Sapper” McNeile story of international spies and their efforts to secure England’s most valuable military secret by kidnapping the head of Scotland Yard and carrying him off to their hide-out in wildest Morocco. “Ring Memories” “Ring Memories” is first and foremost a picture designed to appeal to the boxing fans. The following fights are shown in the picture: Jack Johnson v. Jess Willard, Jack Dempsey v. Gene Tunney, Gene Tunney v. Tom Heeney, Primo Camera v. Max Schmeling, Joe Louis v. Max Baer, Joe Louis v. Jas. J. Braddock, George Cook v. Georges Carpentier, Ambrose Palmer v. "Deacon” Kelly, Les Darcy v. George Chip.
