COMING ATTRACTIONS
REGENT—“Last Train From Madrid,” commencing on Saturday, has Anthony Quinn, Lionel Atwill, Gilbert Roland and Olympne Bradne in the stellar roles, and on the same programme is “Too Many Parents,” with Frances Farmer, Lester Matthews and Billy Lee. “Trader Horn,” screening next Wednesday, has Edwina Booth, Duncan Renaldo and Harry Carey featured. On Saturday of next week the double-feature programme will include “She Had to Eat,” with Rochelle Hudson, Arthur Treacher and Eugene Pallette, and “I Am the Law,” starring Edward G. Robinson and Barbara O'Neil. MAJESTIC— Mickey Rooney and Wallace Beery are co-starred in "Stablemates,” which is to commence to-morrow. The long-awaited "Adventures of Robin Hood” is set down for Friday of next week, with Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Claude Rains, Basil Rathbone and lan Hunter in the principal roles. Coming attractions include “The Boy from Barnardo's” and “Too Hot To Handle.” PLAZA— Jane Withers is supported by Henry Wilcoxon and Gloria Stuart in "Miss Fix-it,” which commences on Saturday. “Prison Without Bars,” to screen next Tuesday, has Barry K. Barnes, Edna Best and Corinne Luchair in the stellar roles. Gary Cooper and Merle Oberon are featured in "The Cowboy and the Lady,” scheduled for Friday of next week. DUCHESS— Bert Bailey and Fred McDonald are starred in “Grand-dad Rudd,” commencing to-morrow. “Devil’s Party,” on Monday next, features Victor McLaglen and Paul Kelly. Jane Withers will be seen on Wednesday next in “45 Fathers.” Fred McMurray and Jean Parker are the stars of “The Taxas Rangers,” screening on Friday of next week. OPERA HOUSE— Stanley McKay presents his New Gaieties of 1939 again tonight and to-morrow night, featuring George Hurd, Stan Foley, Stella Lamond, Nellie Kollee, Barry Ross, Max Reddy, and a host of other artists in a flesh and blood show.
