Import Licences. Applications lor licences to import certain classes of seasonal goods for the second period of the year are now being considered by the Customs Department in Wanganui. Few licences for the second period have actuallybeen issued. There are still some applications for the first period remaining to be dealt with. Variations have been made in some of the restrictions imposed on certain classes of goods under the import licensing regulations and in these cases the restrictions imposed on certain classes of goods under the import licensing regulations and in these cases the restrictions have been relaxed.
