MONTHLY SHIPMENTS TO UNITED KINGDOM. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board is advised by cable from its London office that the shipments from Australia, South America, and South Africa to the United Kingdom during Fhe month of January, 1939, were as follows: Australia.—Carcases mutton, 129,407; carcases lamb, 468,473; quarters beef (frozen). 70,841; quarters beef (chilled), 15,011. South America.—Carcases mutton, 5,028; carcases lamb. 497,401; quarters beef (chilled), 452,291. South Africa (including Southern Rhodesia).—Quarters beef (chilled), 3,336. New Zealand.—Carcases mutton, 68,960; carcases lamb, 808,266; quarters beef (frozen), 9,313; quarters beef (chilled), 20,980.
