An assurance by Robert Court that he was holder of a driver’s licence but did not hive it with him was later found to be false by an inspector of the Transport Department and led jfo Court’s appearance before Mr. LevIvey, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court |on a charge of speeding. He was fined £5 and on a charge of driving without a licence he was fined £2O. The inspector explained that he found Court's licence was cancelled for 12 months when he was convicted on a charge of being intoxicated in a car. He stopped Court on the Main North Road after observing him travelling at 49 miles an hour, all within the 30-miles-an-hour limit.
