A FINAL STAND
ISOLATED LOYALISTS. A REARGUARD ACTION. Received Feb. 14, 5.5 p.m. PERPIGNAN. Feb. 13. Twenty-five thousand republicans who were cut off during the retreat of the Catalan armies are making a final stand in the snowy passes of the Pyrenees near the frontier town of Prats-de-Mollo. They are hemmed in on three sides and are lighting a reari guard action tc cover the wi hdrawal of wounded and equipment by a narj row mule track. Consequently they j are hurling heavy motor vehicles I down the mountain side. Field guns | will follow suit when the wounded are through.
