INTEREST REDUCTION ACT ALBERTA’S REFUSAL TO PAY Received Feb. 14, 5.5 p.m. CALGARY, Feb. 13. The Supreme Court at Alberta tc day quashed the Aberhart . Sock Credit Government’s Interest Reduc tion Act whereby the province refus ed to pay more than half the interei on outstanding bonds. The com rules that interest reduction is th sole authority of the Dominion. The action was brought up by th Independent Order of Foresters wh hold 300,000 dollars’ worth of provir cial debenture’s.
