CHEESE TRADE MARKS
Received Feb. 14, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 13. The Minister of Agriculture, Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith, announced in the House of Commons that the Merchandise Marks Act penalised the sale in Britain of imported cheese unless the country of origin was marked. Such marking could only follow a formal application by persons interested and inquiry by a standing committee.
