Movement of Sheep. Fast work on the part of lorry contractors enabled the transport of a number of sheep to take place in very smart time at a recent sale in Wanganui. The sheep were loaded on a lorry in the Hunterville district about 7 o’clock in the morning, a.nd twelve hours later they were on their new owner's farm near Waverley, after having been submitted at auction in the interim. To make the journey afoot from Wa'nganui to Waverley would have occupied at least three days, and the saving or time was a factor appreciated by all concerned.
