The Depaitment of Agriculture has received the following cablegram from the High Commisioner for New Zealand, dated February 10: Tallow. —Market very quiet. Present spot quotations are: —Mutton. Fine, —; good, 21s to 21s 6d; fair, 16s 6d to 17s. Beef: Fine. —; good. ISs; fair, 16s to 16s 6d; gut, 14s to 15s 6d. Mutton, dark to dull, 15s to 16s 6d. Beef, dark to dull, 14s to 15s 6d. Hemp.—Manila: Market quiet and easier; "K” grade sold FebruaryApril shipment, £lB. Sisal: Market quiet; N.I. sold, February-April shipment. £l6 15s; April-June shipment, £l6 17s 6d. New Zealand: Offer of “rejected" above buyers' ideas; quotations nominal.
