"RECKLESS LIVING" AND "EXPENSIVE HUSBANDS.” A double threesome of top rank comedians and popular screen players of the younger generation will be seen in the featured roles of Universal’s “Reckless Living,” a fast moving comedy drama to open at the Regent Theatre to-day. Heading the trio of funsters is Jimmie Savo, world-fam-ous pantomimist, whose superlative mimicry has been seen in every capital of Europe and America. With him are Charles Judels, veteran merrymaker from the Nev? York musical comedy stage, and Frank Jenks, famous for his portrayal of the music-mad taxi-driver in "100 Men and a girl.” In the romantic leads will be seen Robert Wilcox, Nan Grey and William Lundigan, in a threecorner love story laid against a background of race-tracks, night clubs and the hi-de-ho-spots of modern youth. Savo will be seen doing his great pantomime specialties and singing “You’re a Sweetheart” to the accompaniment of his inimitable gestures. And Nan Grey reveals herself to be a singer of no mean ability when she performs her act as a night dub entertainer, singing the latest McHugh and Adamson hit-number, “When the Stars Go To Sleep.” Playing together for the first time as co-stars, Beverley Roberts and Patrie Knowles are on the same programme in a Warner Bros, romantic comedy called "Expensive Husbands.” Both are weilknown in their own rights—Beverley as the leading lady of the successful Technicolour romance, "God’s Country and the Woman.” and Pat as Errol Flynn’s younger brother in the big spectacle, "The Charge of the Light Brigade.” As a team they are said to be altogether excellent. Many scenes of Hollywood’s life, and many, again, of luxurious spots In the O’d World are presented on the screen in "Expensive Husbands.”
