EXPANSION PROGRAMME SQUADRON FOR BLENHEIM I Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. The Minister in Charge of Aviation, Hon. F. Jones, announced to-day that Cabinet had approved of the establishment of a regular air force squadron at Blenheim. The station will be equiped with single engine aircraft for which orders have already been placed in Great Britain. The strength of the squadron will be 18 officers and 131 other ranks. The establishment of this station forms a part of the recent. expansion programme approved in connection with the Rcyal New Zealand Air Force. Particulars relating tn the remaining portior of the programme will be released at an early date.
