parts of the capital and killed 16 persons and wounded 23. A bombing raid killed 100 people at Jativa. A Salamanca message says that the rebels report hitting a loyalist destroyer during the bombing of Cartagena, shooting down a loyalist chaser plane and also bombing Valencia and Chillon.
