Swansea Technical College claims' to have produced as a commercial! proposition a wheatless bread made | I from oat flour, which is believed to be of higher food value. As oats' grow better than wheat in England i and Scotland, and other ingredients' ! such as sugar and gluten can easily ' be stored, it is claimed that Britain 1 can be made entirely independent of' imported wheat in time of emergency. *
