TAUMARUNUI EWT. FAIR. Messrs. Abraham and Williams Ltd., report on their Taumarunui ewe fair. They offered 13,579 ewes, mostly straight lines and for these there was strong competition at prices in most cases well in excess of vendors’ expectations. Late shorn and failing mouth ewes were not sought after except at lower prices. Very few sheep were bought locally, most of the yarding going to Auckland and the Waikato districts.
