FAREWFLL FUNCTION AT RANGIWAEA
(Own Correspondent.) RANGIWAEA, Feb. 11. A pleasant, farewell evening was held last Saturday at the home Gf Mrs. K. Bayne on behalf of Mrs. R. Hitchcock and Mr. F. Gaudey, who are leaving the district. Games and items were the prelude to a dainty supper. The evening concluded with the presentation of a travelling case, hmdbag and umbrella to Mrs. Hitchcock, Mr. Gaudey being the recipient of a cigarette case and toilet outfit RANGIWAEA TENNIS NOTES Two cups for combined doubles competition have been pre sei/ed by Mcssri. J. Hitchcock and S. Livingstone The cup holders are open to challenge and many keen contests should take place. The holders at Ihe conclusion of the series are to rc'.t’in their trophies until the beginning of the subsequent season.
