CRASH INTO HOUSE
AIR FORCE FIGHTER PLANE FOUR PERSONS KILLED Received Feb. 12, 8.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 12. Four were killed when a singleseater Air Force fighter flying in dense fog stalled over Brighton, circled the housetops and struck a demolished greenhouse. It then dived across a garden, losing a wheel, and imbedded itself in a house containing four flats. The petrol tank exploded and set fire to the plane and the building. Firemen worked for 2* hours before they were able to extricate the bodies. Those killed were airman Sergeant William Bruen, Mrs. R. L. Baigent, who was cooking lunch, and her boy and girl, who were playing with Loys. Her husband was absent and has nut yet been traced. Ten other occupants were rescued uninjured. 7he flames precluded the saving of tne Baigents.
