SALES OF BRITISH PLANES
[ British Official Wirelees. ] Received Feb. 10, 5.5 p.m. RUGBY, Feb. 9. British aero engines of the Gipsy type had been sold to twenty-eight countries, and variable pitch airscrews of British manufacture had been sold in 1938 to Holland, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, Yugoslavia, and Turkey, according to an announcement by the chairman of the De Havilland company at the annual meeting.
