YOUTHS AT TIMARU POLICE FIND CELL EMPTY [ Per Press Association.) TIMARU, Feb. 10. Three youths, Frank Dixon, aged 19. Garfield Smith, aged 17, and Claude Hill, aged 17, appeared in the 'Umaru Court yesterday on charges of breaking and entering with theft and also unlawfully converting cars. They were remanded in custody till Monday but about nine o'clock tonight, when the police visited the cell, they found it empty. The three accused had forced their way through an iron netting over a space in the exercise yard and made good their escape. There was no trace at a late hour to-diight.
