BOWLING TOURNAMENT

REDPATH CLP WINNERS RESULTS AT WESTPORT [ Per Press Association.! WESTPORT, Feb. 10. The bowling tournament of the combined West Coast and Buller centres was finalised to-day so far as the rinks are concerned, this being won by the Christchurch United team, skipped by W. JJrown, with the Westport team, skipped by C. Mitchell, as runners-up. The winning team—H. Davis, J. M. Giles, W. Broughton and W. Brown received the Usher Cup. Replying at the presentation, Mr. Brown mentioned that he won the cup in 1919 with a Christchurch United team at Greymouth. Two members of that team had since passed away and the other was not playing bowls, so he was the only surviving player. The pairs match will be finalised tomorrow.
