WATERING GARDENS. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that watering gardens, lawns, etc., by means of a hose, is permitted for one half hour daily, the hosing time to be as follows: — In that portion of the City situated on the south-western side of the Great North Road, Victoria Avenue, and Portal Street (including Gonvllle, Castlecliff and Durie Hill), between 6.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. In that portion of the City situated on the north-eastern side of the Great North Road, Victoria Avenue, and Portal Street (including Aramoho, Wnaganui East and Durie Vale), between 7 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Any person using a hose for watering gardens, lawns, etc., at times other than the above-mentioned, or allowing water to run to waste from any pipe, tap, or other apparatus, or hosing or permitting water to be used by a hose not held by the hand, will be prosecuted.
