Selling— T.T 3.72 J 3.74 3-8 0.1) 3.72 3-4 3.74 5-8 Buying— O.D. 3.78 5-16 3.80 3-8 Pukeko in City, A pukeko has been observed on two occasions in the last three days in the neighbourhood of the north end of Fitzgerald Avenue, Christchurch. The bird was seen by Mr. David H. Graham, of Churchill Street, "feeding and making friends with some poultry belonging to the caretaker of the cemetery.’’ It was seen again on the banks of the Avon, apparently watching the ducks. When it was approached it flew to the roof of a house on the corner of Fitzgerald Avenue and Cambridge Terrace, where it calmly walked up and down, attracting the attention of early passers-by.
