SOS FROM FREIGHTER
SINKING IN ATLANTIC. Received Feb. 9. 9.30 p.m. NEW YORK. Feb. 9. Anxiety over the fate of a British freighter, Maria de la Rinaga, whicii radioed, “S.O.S, sinking in midAtlantic approximately 1100 mile; from New' York,” were increased greatly after three hours had elapsed without further signals from her. Four liners, the nearest 200 miles distant, are speeding to the rescue of the vessel which carries a crew ol 37.
