DR. H. SCHACHT DECLINES POST MAY HAVE TO RECONSIDER DECISION LONDON, Feb. 8. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph and Morning Posi says that the former president of the Reichsbank, Dr. Hjalmar Schacht, declined the post of Special Commissioner for Exports, although he was pressed to take the position. He no longer wishes to be identified with the financial and economi policy of the Nazis. He hopes tc leave shortly on a world tour lasting a year, but he may have to reconsider his refusal.
