POLAND'S DESIRES RIGHT TO STATE CLAIMS A NEW MOVE INDICATED [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] WARSAW, Feb. 8. The Foreign Under-Secretary, Count Szembek, told a committee of the Senate that Poland reserves the right to state colonial claims during any international discussion of colonial problems. This has interested diplomatic representatives because official colonial claims have not previously been formulated as desire to possess territories but merely desire for access to sources of raw materials and territories for emigration.
NO SURRENDER BRITISH TERRITORY OBJECT OF NEW LEAGUE Received Feb. 9, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 8. A meeting of P: rliamentarians and others established a Colonial League for the purpose of impressing the public with the importance of the British Colonial Empire and stressing the objections to any concession to the German demand for the surrender of colonies or mandaten territories. The council includes Lord Lugard, Lord Stonehaven, Lord Hailey, Lord Selborne, and Mr. L. S. Amery, M.P.
