PALESTINE TALKS ARAB RIFT UNBRIDGED THE JEWISH CASE STATED [By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright] LONDON, Feb. 8. Efforts to settle the difference between the rival Arab delegations to the Palestine Conference continued all day, but without success. The Colonial Secretary, Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, had two long conferences with the delegates of the Arab Defence Party, but the question of representation was not settled, necessitating a further postponement of the presentation of the Arab case. Dr. Weizmann again stated .he Jewish case at St. James’ Palace tonight before the British delegation and the negotiating body of the Jewish Agency. The Zionist view remains that the mandate is a binding instrument involving an obligation to facilitate the Jewish national home. The Jews contend that their activities have been raised to the same economic level as the Arabs. MORE TERRORISM PALESTINE ARABS. GOVERNOR'S THREAT. Received Feb. 9, 5.5 p.m. JERUSALEM, Feb. 8. British troops, who are very active, rounded up sixty-five Arabs, and shot dead one who tried to escape.
