ATTEMPT ON RECORD l Per Pre«a AssOeiaAon.l MASTERTON, Feb. 8. In a special attempt on the New Zealand mile record to-night W. A. C. Pullar clocked 4mins. 204-ssec. The record, established 13 years ago by Randolph Rose on the same track, stands at 4min. 13 3-ssec. Pullar’s sectional times were 59sec., 2min. 4sec., and 3min. 13sec. W. A. C. Pullar will be appearing on Cook’s Gardens at the Wanganui Athletic and Cycling Clubs sports meeting to be held on Saturday night.
