Side-liners in Sport. “It must have been noticed in connection with all sport that there arc scores of young men on the side-line taking no active interest in the games or in physical fitness,” said Mr. F. R. Bould at the public meeting to inaugurate a physical fitness week campaign in Gisborne. He expected that with an enthusiastic campaign the. clubs would be able to retrieve those “side-liners” into the ranks of club members. A suggestion he made was for all clubs to have a recruiting campaign and so .build up their membership, which ultimately would be lor the good of the sport.
