TO LIVE AT WELLINGTON TRANSFER OF BOOT WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. The New Zealand British Empire Games half-mile champion and record holder, V. P. Boot, who is at present visiting New South Wales, is to live at Wellington after his return from Australia. Boot, who is with the Department of Agriculture, and has been stationed at Ashburton as instructor in agriculture, has been transferred by the Department to Wellington as assistant seed certification officer.

INVITATION TO V. P. BOOT [ Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 6. A request that V. P. Boot, the Olympic runner, compete in a sports meeting to be held at New Plymouth on March 14 was received at a meeting of the Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association from the New Plymouth Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. It was agreed to advise the club that it would probably be impossible for Boot to attend the meetings
