Royal Chief, an outstanding pet former in his campaign in Australis last spring, was the best of the sea son last year. He must be accorucc a great chance in the Dunedin Cui to-day. Wild Chase, winner of til: Manawatu Cup this season, will appreciate the fact that the sting will be out of the ground owing to recenl rains. Queen of Song, a Wellington Cup winner and also winner at Hiecarton on Saturday, is another Cu; candidate certain to be in favour The remainder of the ten candidate: appear to be outclassed by the trie mentioned.
