SITUATION IN CHINA
JAPAN’S REPLY TO PROTESTS CONFERENCE NOT A SOLUTION TOKIO, Feb. 5. It is understood the Foreign Office is submitting to Cabinet the draft of a reply to a recent English, French and American protest declaring that Japan does not share their views regarding the position in China, and is of the ppinion that an international conference will not contribute to the solution of the problem.
