CENTRE COMPETITIONS
Entries for the centre open pairs and singles tournament close with the centre secretary, Mr. C. H. Clinkard, to-morrow. The tournaments commence with the pairs on February 14 and 15, followed by the singles on February 16 and 17. A small entrance fee only is payable. Added interest is given the singles by the fact that the centre has allocated the cup presented by Mrs. Hutchins to perpetuate the memory of her late husband to this competition. The late “Teddy” Hutchins was one of the finest singles players in Wanganui and it is anticipated that competition will be keen for the honour of being the first to have a name
inscribed on the trophy. Section play is the order in both competitions. WOMEN’ Don’t neglect piles. Try Zann Double Absorption Treatment. Ninepence in stamps brings generous sample. Write Zann Pty., Box 952 N, Wellington.—Advt.
