Trench Fight was followed into the straight by Queen of Song, Haughty Winner and Night Dress Queen of Song did best to win by a length from Trench Fight, with Haughty Winner three lengths away. Phalanx and Second Innings carriea on across the top and were followed into the straight by Golden Chest, Top Row and Paper Slipper, Top .Row did best to win by half a length from Second Innings, with Wine Card a head away.
