Mcßride, of Nelson, was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, Wanganui, on January 23, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Father Outtrim. Pastel blue and apricot was the colour scheme chosen for the decorations. The bride, escorted by her father, was attired in a frock of ivory needlerun lace over satin with long sleeves, •shirred bodice and lace inset train. waterlilies, rosebuds, gladioli and gypsophilia. The bride was attended by her sister, Francis, wearing a frock of delphinium blue needlerun lace over satin. A three-strand pearl necklace was worn and the coronet of roses on her hair toned with the shower bouquet of apricot flowers she carried. A peasant style frock of apricot organdie embroidered with rosebuds and a tiny coronet of polyanthus roses was worn by the little flower girl, Non! Byers, who held a basket of rosebuds.
