Miss Betty McCarty returns next week from Auckland. Miss Ruby Locker and Mr. H. Locker are holidaying in Auckland. Mrs. D. Melville, Hawera, is the guest of Mrs. E. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. H. Peacocke arc spending the week-end at Wellington. Mrs. Len Honeyfield has been visiting Feilding. Miss Lorna Joyce, Hawera, hat been the guest of Mrs. C. S. Martin. Miss Patricia Currie has returned from Wanganui. Mrs. Honeyfield, senr., has returned from Wellington. Miss Lorna Martin has returned from Kapuni. Miss Phyllis Green has returned to Whenuakura. Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Sheild have returned from the Waikato. Mr. John Hunger, New Zealand Aii Force, is visiting his parents. Mr. W. Watt, son o£ Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Watt, Kakaramea, leaves this month for Dunedin to study for the ministry of the Presbyterian Church. Miss Joan Burke has returned from Ohope beach, Whakatangi. Mrs. J. Petersen, junr., is staying with her mother, Mrs. Watkins, Waverley. Miss Meta Mawhinney has resumed teaching duties after staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Mawhinney. Miss Jean Carey is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Christchurch. Miss Eva Vodani, Wanganui, and Mrs. Tolick and Miss Maureen Tolick, Auckland, have returned home after visiting Mrs. M. Sumich. Mrs. Blick and Mrs. Hedditcn, Stratford, were visitors to Patea this week for the surprise party given by Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Carey, for Mrs. C. Masters. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Campbell s (Tangiwha) many friends will be interested to hear they have a wee daughter.
