I.L.O. CONFERENCE

MB. JOHN ROBERTS LIKELY DELEGATE SUPPORT OF BIG UNIONS I Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 3. As a result of the support giver, his candidature by the majority ot district councils of the New Zealand Federation of Labour and by the votes already cast in his favour by a number of the big unions in the Dominion, Mr. John Roberts, Christchurch, is certain to be selected as the workers’ representative to attend the next International Labour Oliice conference at Geneva in June. It is understood that a ballot wilt have to be taken because Mr. T. Stanley, Auckland, is still in the field, but his chances are not favoured consequent on the number of big unions which have already cast their votes for Mr. Roberts. =rz=----~=--
