AGENTS’ REPORTS. RONGOTEA. Levin and Co. Ltd report that at Rongotea on Wednesday, there was a good sale for all cllasses entered. Quotations: Shorn med. 2-tooth ewes 18s Sd; shorn fat ewes 15s 8d; shorn fat wethers 18s; good porkers £2 19s, £2 12s; stores 30s, 41s, 42s 6d, to 43s 6d; slips 18s 6d to 235; fat cows £6; 2-year empty S.H. heifers £3 9s; boner cows £2 10s to £2 15s; yearling heifers Jersey cross £2 16s. HAWEBA. The Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation Society report as follows:—At Hawera on Thursday we submitted a fair yarding of all classes of cattle to a good attendance of buyers. * All cattle were in good demand as also were pigs. Bidding was spirited throughout and a good sale resulted. Prices: Aged fat bulocks £8 5s to £9 4s; fat cows £6 17s 6d to £7 7s 6d; paddock cows £5 to £5 Ils; store cows £4 5s to £5; boners 35s to £3 15s; canners 25s to 30s; works bulls, £2 15s to £4; cows and calves £3 13s; small shorn 2-th ewes and wethers 17s 6d; do 4-th ewes and wethers 20s; weaner pigs 10s to 225; small stores 24s to 30s; large stores 32s 6d to £2 4s. WAVER LEY. The Farmers’ Co-op Organisation reports: At Waverley on Friday we had a good yarding of fat cattle, and a small entry of works cattle. Bidding throughout was good and on the whole a very satisfactory sale resulted. Prices: —Fat cows £6 10s to £7 4s; fat heifers £6 10s; light fat cows £6 ss; paddock cows £4 to £6; works bulls £3 11s; vearling Jersey heifers £3 Is; woolly ewe hoggets 25s 3d; woolly wether hoggets 225; sore ewes 15s; weaner pigs 8s to 255.
