FOR ITALIAN BANDIT A CLASH WITH POLICEMAN. DESPERADO BOUND FOR FRANCE. ROME. Dec. 10. A message from Nice states that the bandit Ballastro boarded a train bound for France after severely wounding a policeman with gunshot. The authorities are actively searching for the' fugitive.
