FOLLOW GOOD COMPETITION; SECOND NAPIER WOOL SALE BIG CATOLOGUE DISPOSED OF (Pei Freee Association.) NAPIER, Dec. 10. The second Napier wool sale to-day showed the tendency of the market to be firmer, with prices slightly in sellers’ favour compared with the November sale. For American wools there was greater competition, and prices improved. Ordinary Bradford top-making and Continental sorts, were on par with last sale, end competition of local mills and the Continent, was responsible for an improvement in the price of bellies, pieces and lambs’ wool. The bulk of the eatalogue of 22,000 bales was disposed of under the hammer. Taking all things into consideration, the sale was highly satisfactory.
