WANGANUI PROFESSIONAL CLUB THE RELIABLE CUP The Reliable Cup, presented by Mr L. E. Smith, to the Wanganui Cycle Club for a points prize for the 1926 road season, has been won by R. Davis with 39 points. Th s is the first season that Davis has ridden, and he has scored points in • very road race ho has ridden in. Twelve club races have been held and Davis has only missed one, through being ill. 11. White is the runner up with 27 points. White won the Reliable Cpp last road season. Fitzgerald (Victoria) and AV. Casen (N.S.W.), won a teams pursuit race there recently. Ho also won his heat in the half mile event, but as the final half mile came directly after the : finish of the pursuit race Nicholson I found it too hard and could only get' fourth. He has signed on for tho six j days race to be held in Sydney duringthe holidays, White has gone to Auckland for the i opening of Bl andford Park Stadium season, and will probably do a few meetings around Auckland.
