Bowling,—Morgan 4 for 110. New South Wales, who scored 287 in their first innings, in their second have lost none for 152—Phillips 71, Steele 69. Macartney is suffering from a muscular injury to the neck and is unable to play. The bowling was very weak, and it is many years since a New South Wales team provided such a harmless attack.
