MUNICIPAL PROGRESS
BOROUGH OF WHANGAREI LOAN PROPOSALS VOTED ON (Per Press Association). WHANGAREI, Dec. 9. The Borough Council submitted to the ratepayers yesterday, loan proposals totalling £17,950. The proposal to raise £ll,OOO for a new electricity transmission lino was rejected, but the remainder were carried.
