SHOOTING
ARAMOHO GUN CLUB CLAY BIRD SHOOTING. The shoot arranged for last Saturday at the invitation of Mr W. McKee, and held on his grounds at Brunswick, was a new departure, and enticed a number of members out for an afternoon in the country. Among other matches a 12-bir I handicap event, for which Air McKee very kindly provided a fat. lamb as 1 trophy, was fired, and resulted as follows:—Dunlop (handicap 12), 8 birds; Burgess, 17—11; Murray, 11 —9; Kempton, 16—11; A. McKee, 11—7; D‘ Smith, 11—7; Gaze (proxy), 12 —10; Blyth, 17—11. An added pleasure was the enjoyable afternoon tea provided under the auspices of the Misses Willis and Smith. They and Air McKee were heartily thanked for the hospitality extended, by Mr Dunlop, on behalf of th; members, in the unavoidable absence ot the President, Air R. Farley. Next Saturday, on the Show Ground at Wanganui East further matches have been arranged for. Shooting will commence at the usual time.
